Emmanuel Finkiel shooting “Je ne suis pas un salaud”

Nicolas Duvauchelle and Mélanie Thierry are toplining the movie, which is produced by Thelma Films and sold by Bac Films

Last Monday, Emmanuel Finkiel kicked off the shoot for his fourth feature film: Je ne suis pas un salaud (lit. “I’m Not a Bastard”).
The cast of his new opus includes Nicolas Duvauchelle, Mélanie Thierry, Driss Ramdi and Maryne Cayon.

Written by the director, the story revolves around a man called Eddie. When he falls victim to a violent attack in the street, he wrongly accuses Ahmed, the perfect fall guy, whom he saw several days before the attack. As the legal system throws everything it has at Ahmed, Eddie tries to get back on his feet with a little help from his wife and son, and thanks to his new job. But soon, Eddie becomes aware of the seriousness of his actions, and he does everything in his power to set the record straight. Even if that means losing everything…

The shoot, which is set to wrap on 30 October, will take place in and around Lille, as well as in Paris.
